Cylindrical Screening Machines for Precise Seed and Cereal Sorting

Our Cylindrical Screening Machines are designed for efficient sorting and grading of seeds, cereals, grains, maize, sunflower seeds, rice, and various granular products, including recycling materials. These machines ensure high accuracy in sorting operations, providing reliable and precise results.

Key Features:

  1. Effective Sorting: The incoming material is sorted based on its width (round perforation) and thickness (slotted perforation). Kernels thinner than the screen holes pass through, while thicker kernels are transported to the end-outlet.

  2. Centrifugal Force: With the permanent circulation of the product and the resulting centrifugal force, each kernel comes into contact with the screen perforation, facilitating accurate sorting.

  3. Modular System: The single cylinders, constructed as self-supporting steel structures, can be joined in various configurations using a simple modular system. Only one drive motor is needed, leading to energy savings.

  4. Versatility: Up to three cylinders can be installed above each other, allowing a wide range of sorting targets to be covered.

Assembly Units:

  • Screen Box: Houses the screening cylinder.
  • Screen Cylinder: Available as a single-sieve push-on cylinder (CS300 and CS500 types) or with three screen segments attached to supporting discs (CS700 type).
  • Vibrating Through: Transfers the product falling through the upper screening cylinder to the inlet of the next cylinder. It collects all throughs when arranged as the lowest unit and conveys them to a discharge pipe.
  • Detector Box: Prevents the product falling through the upper screening cylinder from hitting the lower cylinder, bypassing the following cylinder.
  • Discharge Hopper: Collects the throughs and tailings, which are then piped out through a suitable conduit.

Features:

  • Drive Options: The drive can be equipped with boxed or variable speed (via frequency inverter or mechanical speed variator gear).
  • Permanent Screen Cleaning: Prevents blockage of screen holes. Additional hand-operated cleaning devices or brush rollers can be installed as alternatives.
  • Adjustable Screen Inclination: Regulate the throughput capacity with sleeplessly adjustable screen inclination between 0 and 2.5°.
  • Simple Screen Exchange: Easy screen replacement for improved maintenance efficiency.

Parallel Operation: The grain flow is divided into separate inlet channels of each single cylinder, allowing them to receive part of the grain flow at a time. Oversized products are discharged at the end of each cylinder. The product falling through is directed by the detector box to bypass the following cylinder.

Series Operation: The product falling through the upper screening cylinder is fed to the inlet of the next cylinder through a vibrating trough. Oversized products are discharged at the end of each cylinder.
